Wedding Photographer at Domaine Amourella

A C&A Wedding Amid the Olive Trees of Provence

When you imagine a wedding in Provence, you immediately think of the golden light, the centuries-old olive trees, the light-colored stone buildings, and that gentle atmosphere that embodies the charm of the South.

That’s exactly what C&A chose to celebrate their union at Domaine Amourella, a wedding venue nestled near Lambesc, where nature becomes the most beautiful backdrop.

I had the pleasure of accompanying them throughout the day as their wedding photographer at Domaine Amourella, using an approach that was both documentary and editorial, to tell their story with sincerity while highlighting the beauty of their special day.

An elegant wedding in sage green tones

The theme of the day was sage green.

A soft, natural, and timeless palette that blended perfectly with the Provençal landscapes of the estate.

From the floral arrangements to the decorative details, everything had been thoughtfully designed to create an elegant atmosphere without ever being over the top.

This harmony between the colors, the estate’s stonework, and the olive trees creates a particularly refined look in photographs.

Domaine Amourella: A Provençal Setting for a Wedding

Domaine Amourella is one of those places that captivates you right away.

Its stone buildings, light-filled outdoor spaces, and numerous olive trees offer a wide variety of backdrops throughout the day.

Whether for the preparations, the non-religious ceremony, the cocktail reception, or the couple’s photos, each space allows you to create natural, luminous, and timeless images.

As a photographer, it’s a particularly pleasant place to shoot, especially at the end of the day when the Provençal light becomes softer.

A ceremony surrounded by nature

One of the highlights of the day was undoubtedly the ceremony.

Surrounded by their loved ones, C&A exchanged their vows in a peaceful setting where only the olive trees and the song of the cicadas accompanied their emotions.

My approach is to intervene as little as possible so that every moment can unfold naturally.

The glances, bursts of laughter, tears, and spontaneous gestures always tell a story far more powerful than staged photos.

Couple photos at sunset

At the end of the day, we took advantage of the golden light to take the couple’s photos.

The olive-tree-lined paths at Domaine Amourella provide the perfect setting for creating elegant yet very natural-looking images.

I always guide couples gently, without asking them to pose constantly.

The goal is for them to simply enjoy a moment together while I capture their interactions, their glances, and their connection.

It’s often in these moments that the most authentic images emerge.

A Documentary and Editorial Approach

My approach to wedding photography is based on a balance between two styles.

On one hand, a documentary approach, which involves faithfully capturing your day exactly as it unfolded.

On the other, an editorial sensibility, inspired by fashion photography, that highlights the settings, the light, and the details without ever distorting the emotions.

I prioritize true-to-life colors, natural light, and timeless images that will stand the test of time without becoming dated.
