1. What we often forget: a photo is a co-creation

We often think that the photographer “does it all”.

But in reality, a photo shoot is an encounter. An exchange.

It’s a fusion of artistic sensibility and authentic presence.

The photographer captures… what you give him to see.

And you give yourself away… if you feel safe.

Hence the importance of feeling, that almost invisible but precious alchemy.

2. Alchemy means feeling understood and seen

  • Exchange with her/him: a call, an e-mail, a video. The energy is always there, even at a distance.
  • Listen to your instincts. If you feel caring, listening, respect → that’s a good sign.
